Our commitment

The safety, dignity, and well-being of children and young people involved in our programs are fundamental priorities.

Expected conduct

Staff, volunteers, partners, and representatives are expected to maintain appropriate boundaries, avoid exploitative or abusive behavior, follow program supervision requirements, and act in the best interests of children participating in our activities.

Images and personal information

Photos, stories, names, and personal information involving minors should be handled carefully and only used with appropriate authorization and safeguards.

Screening and supervision

Roles involving direct contact with children may require screening, references, training, supervision, or other safeguards appropriate to the activity and local requirements.

Reporting concerns

Suspected abuse, exploitation, neglect, unsafe conduct, or other safeguarding concerns should be reported promptly through the appropriate foundation and, when required, governmental or emergency channels.

No retaliation

Good-faith safeguarding reports should be handled seriously and without retaliation.
