Our approach
Donations support charitable programs and are generally treated as final once successfully processed. We understand that mistakes can occur and will review reasonable refund requests individually.
\nWhen a refund may be considered
A refund may be considered when a donation was made in error, the wrong amount was entered, an unauthorized transaction is reported, or another exceptional circumstance is documented.
\nHow to request a refund
Contact us promptly with the donor name, donation date, amount, transaction or receipt reference, and an explanation of the request. For security, we may ask for information necessary to verify the transaction.
\nTiming
Requests should be made as soon as possible. Processing times may depend on the payment provider, bank, accounting status, and whether funds have already been committed or transferred for charitable use.
\nRecurring donations
Stopping a recurring donation affects future charges. It does not automatically reverse prior completed contributions. Contact us if you need help with a recurring gift.
\nReceipts
If a contribution is refunded, any donation acknowledgment or receipt associated with the refunded amount should no longer be relied upon for tax-record purposes. A corrected record may be issued when appropriate.
